VITHY® VGTF series High Efficiency Sealed Plate Filter (also called Arma Filter) is composed of the filter and some auxiliary equipment such as a mixer, transfer pump, pipeline, valve, electrical control, etc. Its filtration process depends on the slurry properties.

The main body of the filter is composed of a filter tank, filter screen, lid lifting mechanism, automatic residue discharge device, etc. After the filter aid is mixed with the slurry in the mixer, it is transported by the pump on the filter screen to form a cake layer. Once a stable filter cake layer has formed, the fine filter aid particles can provide countless fine channels, trapping suspended debris, but also allowing clear liquid to pass through without blockage. Therefore, the slurry is actually filtered through the filter cake layer. The filter screen is composed of multiple layers of stainless-steel mesh, installed on the central aggregate pipe, which is very convenient to assemble, disassemble, and clean.
